My work is a necessary act of expression that was born out of depression, hardships, and emotional manipulation. I met myself with a conflict, either confront this invasive identity, or shrink and despair.
Here, in my studio, I ask the forward question: “What happens when you stop looking away? What happens when you look into the mirror and confront yourself, these internal conflicts, and your contradictions?”

A New Congregation - Gatherings and rituals that pay homage to the identity outgrown, old habits carried, the version of you that kept you safe and small. May it rest peacefully.
